The shed with the roller door
We are on the water side of Marine Terrace, in the low shed with the green roller door and the store name still painted above it.
There is angled parking straight out front, free after six, and a gravel yard behind that takes another thirty cars.
The entrance is the small door beside the roller, not the roller itself. If it is closed after ten, push — it sticks in the heat.
By car
Angled parking out front, free after 6pm, plus the yard behind.
On foot
Six minutes along the terrace from the foreshore.
By bike
Rails welded onto the old crate stand, left of the door.
Before you call
How late can I book for the same evening?
Up to 7pm, though a Friday will already be gone by then.
Is a deposit taken?
Never. A name and a phone number is the whole reservation.
Can a card table be held?
Two of the nine, for four to six people, on the phone only.
What about a big group?
Up to eighteen with three weeks' notice, and not on a Saturday in season.
